On June 30, the groundbreaking ceremony for the workshop and auxiliary buildings of the "Special Morphology Magnesium Hydroxide and Magnesium Aluminum Hydrotalcite Industrialization Demonstration Project" of Qinghai Salt Lake Institute was grandly held at the Ganhe Pilot Plant. Director Wu Zhijian, Party Secretary Wang Yongyan, and Deputy Director Feng Haitao of ISL. Han Shengfu, vice president of Qinghai Hanhe Engineering Management Co., Ltd., and Qin Hongbing, the legal representative of Qinghai Zhengqian Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., attended the groundbreaking ceremony and participated in the groundbreaking ceremony.
Wu Zhijian delivered a speech at the groundbreaking ceremony, congratulating the start of the project and thanking the guests who were invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony. The start of this project marks the formal implementation of the demonstration of the industrialization of high-end magnesium-based functional materials at the 1,000-ton level. It will provide the technical foundation and design basis for the industrial development of the efficient and comprehensive utilization of magnesium resources in the salt lakes of Qinghai Province, and become a platform to support the development of high value-added magnesium-based products in the salt lakes of Qinghai and the transformation of achievements.
"Special Morphology Magnesium Hydroxide and Magnesium Aluminum Hydrotalcite Industrialization Demonstration Project" is based on the mass-produced ordinary magnesium hydroxide as raw material in Qinghai Province. After the project is completed, it will produce world-advanced magnesium hydroxide flame retardants and magnesium aluminum hydrotalcite series products, which will lead and demonstrate the high-efficiency comprehensive utilization of magnesium resources in Qinghai.
