On August 17, Qinghai Normal University Party Secretary Zhang Xiongwei and President Shi Peijun visited ISL. Accompanied by Wu Zhijian, deputy director of ISL, Zhang Xiongwei and Shi Peijun first visited the Salt Lake Science and Technology Exhibition Hall. At the subsequent symposium, Zhang Xiongwei fully affirmed the outstanding contributions made by ISL in serving the country's needs and local economic construction, and introduced the scientific research in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, geology and materials in Qinghai Normal University. Shi Peijun introduced the progress of the construction of the Sanjiangyuan ecological civilization construction and the implementation of the central Tibet aid work. He hopes that Qinghai Normal University and ISL will cooperate in the construction of disciplines, personnel training, joint research and development of scientific research platforms, establishment of a comprehensive science and education integration mechanism, and joint construction of scientific research institutions.
Wu Zhijian said that the cooperation between ISL and Qinghai Normal University has its roots and foundation. ISL will fully cooperate with and support Qinghai Normal University's school-running and science-teaching integration, and actively carry out multi-field cooperation.
