CAS innovation cross cooperation team project “Salt lakes resources - Phase change material” launched

Recently, CAS innovation cross cooperation team project “Salt lakes resources - Phase change material” undertaken by ISL and associated with Institute of Process Engineering and Chengdu Organic Chemicals Co., Ltd. CAS was approved by CAS. Kick-off meeting of the project was held in the institute of Process Engineering on Oct 22th. The project is based on the abundant salt lake resource and solar energy of Qinghai province, aiming at heating of agricultural and pastoral areas in the west, and facility agriculture heat preservation and warming, heat storage of solar-thermal system, industrial waste heat recovery etc. Development and application demonstration project of wide temperature range phase change energy storage material with salt lake resource feature will be carried out.
