On 9:00 July 20, 2012, Institute of Salt Lake (ISL) national special project survey of China salt lake changes on basic technology of China wild expedition team officially departure from institute. Leaders, middle-lever cadres, workers and graduates were seeing them off.
The wild expedition team includes 11 members. Their main task is the investigation of the salt lake. The evaluation focused on the size of the salt lake reserves, resources gathered, the level of resources available, the salt lake industrial development and construction and other resources related to the production of self-sufficiency. Also about the extent of deposits occurrence conditions, transportation conditions, resource consumption, resource level of assurance, the impact on the ecological environment, the sustainable utilization of capacity.
This special project basic technology wild expedition will later carry out the salt lake area in aspects of the climate, environment, and enrichment of salts those basic data. Salt lake as the information carrier of the natural environmental changes can sensitively reflect the evolution process of the regional structure and the natural environment. Salt lake resources changes survey provides the basic data and information the global and regional salt lake area of tectonic evolution, climate, and changes in the environment. It’ll also further promote the salt lake science-related subjects such as global change research and regional tectonic evolution.
