On August 3, 2011, Patricio DE Sominihac, the executive vice President and chief operating officer of Chilean SQM Company, paid a visit to ISL accompanied with a line of seven people who responsible for hydrogeology, technical development and finance, marketing .This is the second time the SQM personnel visited ISL this year.
They visited the exhibition halls, learned about the development history of ISL and the main research field. Then, they made a further discussion with researchers of ISL on development of lithium resources in salt lake. At last, both sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention on development of salt lake resource of South America and China.
