Science and technology awarding meeting was held at the provincial conference center, May 14, 2011. Project "concentrated brine of salt lake - silicate high temperature and high pressure silicate water and salt magnesium silicate lithium composite materials" which was completed by Associate researcher Jing Yan and Jia Yongzhong researcher from ISL won third prize of Qinghai province scientific and technological progress.
The research group used salt lake concentrated brine as raw materials, carried on based research of the synthesis of the lithium magnesium silicate so as to avoid the problem of separating between magnesium and lithium. The lithium magnesium silicate was used for synthetic substrate and launched for magnesium silicate lithium composite materials research work with light, respectively, preparation, adsorption performance and catalytic properties of luminous property of magnesium silicate lithium composite material, and studied the properties of materials and mechanism for lithium magnesium silicate, which provides the theoretical basis on application of composite material.

The development of this project has achieved good results, published 12 articles, of which 7 SCI articles, 2 EI articles, 3 of domestic core periodical; one patent is authorized by national Patent Office. The project implementation process training .Three postgraduates and one Ph.D. have been educated during the project implementation process.
