     1. RESEARCH GROUP

    Origination and evolution of salt resources and their exploitation and utilization

     

    2. BRIEF INTRODUCTION

    We focus on the origination, evolution process and distribution disciplinarian of salt resources in salt lakes around the world and potassium and lithium resources in ancient geological bodies, and the evolutionary history of the paleoenvironment based on salt deposition. Professional geochemical, geological and geophysical service is provided for geophysical exploration, exploitation and utilization of salt resources.

    1)    Salt Geochemistry & Salt Mineral Deposit

    a)     Conventional and unconventional isotopes research in salt lakes and salt deposits

    b)    Recover the paleoenvironment of salt deposits and their evolution process.

    c)     Organic inclusion in geological material and their history information revealed.

    2)    Formation theory and Applications of Salt Resources

    a)     Geological, Geochronology and Geochemical study of salt deposits

    b)    Origination, evolution and distribution of salt resources.

    c)     Efficient utilization of salt resources.

    3)    Geophysical Exploration Service on the Exploitation and Utilization Process of Salt Resources

    a)     Geophysical exploration methods: Gravity, Magnetic, electromagnetic and seismic exploration.

    b)    Geological environment and metallogenetic condition research.

    c)     Remote sensing technology and Geographic Information System (GIS) integrated analysis in development and utilization of salt resources.

    4)    Water Resources Assessment in the Salt Lakes

    a)     Hydrogeology research around salt lakes.

    b)    Water consumption in salt lake industry and urban development.

    c)     Water Estimation and Management among consumptions and eco-system balance.
