From April 26th to 29th, at the invitation of the Youth Promotion Group of the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Youth Promotion Group of ISL organized a delegation to the Xinjiang Biomass Exchange. Gui Dongwei, Director of the Scientific Research Department of Xinjiang Institute of Biology, the Youth Promotion Group of Xinjiang Youth Land Institute and ISL, and some young researchers and graduate students of Xinjiang Shengdi Institute participated in the exchange.

At the exchange meeting, young researchers from ISL introduced the latest research progress from climate change, spore and human activities, salt lake hydrology, salt lake resources and their exploitation and utilization. The young researchers from the Xinjiang Institute of Biology introduced the latest research progress in terms of ecological hydrology, biological resistance, soil crust, plant evolution and plant survival strategies.
