    ISL Organized the 23th “Salt Lake Science and Technology Forum”

    On July 18, ISL organized the 23th “Salt Lake Science and Technology Forum” in the Conference Room on the sixth floor of ISL. Professor Zhou Yiming, the director of Deep Sea Extreme Environment Simulation Research Laboratory, Institute of Deep Sea Science and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to give a report. Forum was chaired by professor Song Pengsheng.

    Professor Zhang Yunhong gave a presentation titled "Raman Studies on Thermodynamics and Kinetics of Aerosol Hygroscopicity" and shared their research findings on atmospheric aerosols from both thermodynamics and kinetics. Professor Zhang Yunhong believes that the type and amount of atmospheric aerosol particles is an important factor leading to haze and pollution of the weather, the proportion of fine particles in the atmosphere, accounting for about 10-70%, the organic / inorganic hybrid aerosols particulate moisture Research, to understand the formation mechanism of haze, is of great significance, and with the Qinghai Salt Lake researchers conducted an interactive.

    The forum had broadened the academic vision of scientific research personnel of ISL, deepened the understanding of the different research directions inside and outside, and the report also provided new ideas for the development of salt lake resources.
