The USA oak ridge national laboratory researcher Wang Wei visited ISL from July 16th to 19th under the invitation of Wu Zhijian researcher.

Wang gave an academic report in four floor conference room of ISL, which named:”organic nano-material preparation and application in energy and the environment fields”. He firstly compared and analyzed the feasibility as well as relative merits of nuclear, water, electricity, geothermal, solar energy, which are the ways to solve energy and environment problems. Then, he shown and explained the latest research results of catalyst based on inorganic nanometer material, which can be used in solar energy material to solve the above problems.

His lecture involved related theory of solar energy utilization, preparation, the design of the structure analysis, performance characterization of inorganic nanomaterial, as well as the application of the components. He detailed answered the questions of the professors and students from ISL under lively and warm atmosphere.
