    The Lanzhou Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences organizes the 2021 STS regional key project kick-off meeting in Qinghai Province

    On April 26, the 2021 STS regional key project kick-off meeting of the Lanzhou Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Qinghai Province was held at ISL. "New technology for preparing anhydrous magnesium chloride by cyclic adsorption of natural bischofite medium" and "Technology research and engineering application for improving the adaptability of raw carnallite ore by cold crystallization of potassium chloride-positive flotation process" were officially launched.

    At the kick-off meeting, Director Yin Changliang of the Science and Technology Cooperation Department of the Lanzhou Branch introduced the overall situation of the Lanzhou Branch’s organization and implementation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences STS plan. He pointed out that the STS regional key projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences mainly meet the needs of regional economic and social development and provide scientific and technological support for regional innovation and development. The person in charge of the project made a detailed report on the background of the project, scientific and technological service objectives, technical foundation, project implementation plan, and the integration plan of internal and external resources. The members of the expert group participating in the meeting reviewed the target plan, task setting, product demonstration and promotion, cooperation mechanism and mode, and work progress, and put forward relevant suggestions.
