On July 25, the 21st China Qinghai Green Development Investment and Trade Fair China (Qinghai) Lithium Industry and Power Battery Summit Forum was held in Xining. More than 80 well-known experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from the domestic lithium industry and new energy automobile industry, scientific research institutes, universities and other fields attended the forum. Wang Liming, Vice Governor of Qinghai Province and member of the Party Leadership Group, attended and delivered a speech. The forum was chaired by Wu Zhijian, Director of Qinghai Institute of Salt Lakes, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

In his speech, Wang Liming stated that Qinghai is an important national green energy strategic base with unique salt lake lithium resources. The proven lithium resource reserves account for more than one-third of the global reserves and account for about 80% of the national reserves, which is supportive. An important guarantee for the sustainable and healthy development of the lithium battery industry in Qinghai Province. In recent years, the provincial party committee and the provincial government have attached great importance to and strongly supported the development of the lithium battery industry. Qinghai has developed into an important national lithium battery industry base and a beautiful business card for Qinghai's green, low-carbon, and circular development. In previous forums, experts and scholars conducted fruitful discussions on the development of the lithium industry in Qinghai from different dimensions, which not only contributed to the collision of ideas for the “most powerful brain” in the lithium battery industry, but also promoted cross-border exchanges and collaborations among industry, finance, and learning. He hopes that in today's forum, experts can speak freely, fully communicate, contribute insights, and discuss the bright future of Qinghai's lithium industry and power batteries. The Qinghai Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government will continue to vigorously support the development of the lithium industry and power batteries, strengthen investment in technological innovation, focus on improving resource utilization, support core technology research, and accelerate the transition from a "large lithium resource province" to a "lithium resource strong province".
