From January 11th to 12th, the 2020 Green Mine Annual Conference and the first Green Mine Outstanding Contribution Award Awarding Ceremony was held in Beijing. Professor Shan Fashou won the Individual Award for Outstanding Contribution to Green Mine.

The "Green Mine Outstanding Contribution Award" is a new government support plan in the awards catalogue of the National Award Office. It is sponsored by the Zhongguancun Green Industry Alliance and is specially established to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the development of green mining and the construction of green mines. This award is an important practice of ISL in "promoting green mine construction and technological innovation and helping the transformation of scientific and technological achievements". It is also a recognition of ISL good performance in overcoming technical bottlenecks such as difficulty in mining coal resources due to water damage due to water damage, slope instability and inadequate water resource utilization, as well as in potash exploration, mining and green mine construction in Laos and Thailand.
