On June 26, Qinghai Provincial Intellectual Property Office held the 2017 Qinghai Province Patent Grant Fund Disbursement Ceremony. For the patent holders who obtained the domestically authorized invention patents, utility model patents, foreign authorized invention patents and invention patents in 2017, the patent holders with more than 20 patentees, and the patent holders won the China Patent Excellence Award, they will receive financial subsidies. ISL received a total of 560,000 yuan from Qinghai Province for funding and awards, accounting for nearly 20% of the province's total. This is the fourth consecutive year that Qinghai Salt Lake has received the highest award.

In 2017, ISL has authorized a total of 47 invention patents, ranking first in Qinghai province. At the same time as the number of applications continues to increase, the patent quality improvement work is also continuing, with a view to further optimizing the patent layout and better improving the patent operation level.
