On April 15,Jia Yongzhong, the director of the Key Laboratory of the Comprehensive and Efficient Utilization of Salt Lake Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, presided over The third meeting of The 1st Academic Committee. Some academic members of key laboratories and ISL researcher attended the meeting.

Jia Yongzhong briefed participants on the development of the laboratory and the achievements made and reported the materials for the assessment. The laboratory members has made prominent efforts in the aspects of efficient and green separation of lithium resources in salt lakes, high value of magnesium resources, research and development of energy storage materials, green new technology of sodium dichromate synthesis, basic investigation and system integration of salt resources and the environment data contribution, among them, ion-selective membrane separation and lithium extraction technology won the 2016 CAS CAST Promotion Award.
