On May 14th, the 12th Public Science Day of Chinese Academy of Sciences was held on the theme of “Science and technology innovation to pursue the future” in almost one hundred institutes belong to Chinese Academy of Sciences at the same time. ISL held the Public Science Day on the theme of “Salt Lake Resource and life” at the central square of Xining.

In combination with professional knowledge, volunteers introduces common sense and resources of salt lakes existing in daily life such as edible salt, chemical fertilizer and lithium batteries, and salt lake tourism which get more and more attention. Ordinary people have a depth understanding about salt lakes through this propaganda.
