    Investigation of National Science and Technology special foundation work “China Salt Lake resources change survey” has been completed in Tibet

    On the basis of last year’s survey, investigation of National Science and Technology special foundation work “China Salt Lake resources change survey” has been completed in Tibet, especially Qiangtang area from Apr 17 to Jun 13.

    The investigation last for two months, and total mileage is about forty thousand kilometers. Field investigation, video recording and sampling, etc. have carried on the distribution of resources of nearly a hundred salt lakes in Qiangtang area. Several difficulties have been overcome, such as high altitude, poor road condition, brutal attack and supply difficulties etc. The expedition investigated no man’s land of Qiangtang area depth, involving multiple remote salt lakes. It will establish foundation for the investigation of climate, environment and salt concentration regularity of salt lakes in this area.
