    EXPERIENCE

    Dr. Li has conducted the developing and industrial research of aluminum borate whisker, dynamic characteristics of valuable elements during the exploitation progress of Cha Er Han salt lake, etc. Now Dr. Li is conducting the comprehensive utilization of the vast salt lake resources in the northwestern of China. He has conducted and is conducting about 10 research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China as project principal or main researcher. He has published morn than 40 papers in domestic and international academic periodicals journals. Dr. Li has authored and co-authored 2 books. He has filed 6 patents and 4 of them have been authorized. He has given several invited presentations; keynote speaks and acted as seminar chairman 2 times. Dr. Mai has received the Forth Youth Scientific Worker Award of CAS (April 1999), the first Liu Dagang Youth Scientific and Technological Award (September 1999), the Science and Technology Progress Prize of Qinghai province during the "10th five years", etc. His students have received West China Award (2 times), etc.
